About ORT

Brandon Ort (the guy kneeling in a field) was born in a small rural town in Michigan. Not the apex of the arts, but a great place to grow up. You know, PURE MICHIGAN and all that. Having a skillset in illustration and absolutely no idea how that could translate into a career; I decided to major in Graphic Design (Minor in Studio Art). College is definitely where I fell in love with design.

From there I have worked for an award-winning in-house design team, created branding campaigns for a Cincinnati based agency, and started my own company. With over 15 years of experience, I plan to continue designing until it starts to feel like work.

Outside of design you can find me fishing, traveling with my wife and two children, adding to my collection of vintage single-stitched tees, or on the links playing some of the best bogey golf you’ve ever seen.

The Studio

All work is created out of my home studio in New Bremen, Ohio. This space is shared with my wife, Stacey; a high school teacher, top-tier chef, idea generator, and caretaker of my two children.

Each project comes with its own specific requirements, but my workflow can be broken down into 3 simple segments:

The Vision

Ort Design Studio was started with the goal of creating a one-stop-shop where clients can get first-class design solutions. I am able to mix illustration and typography skills with modern visual design which allows me to be extremely versatile in my offerings. I am passionate about creating lasting relationships with my clients. This builds a foundation of trust and allows creativity to flourish, thus delivering the best possible outcome for your business.
